Events & Ensembles

​PERFORMANCES:
​We give four major programs during the year: a solo Recital in the spring, an outdoor Pops Concert in the summer, a studio Open House in the fall, and Winter Concert for a senior center.

Many students also play in community ensembles, including the Holyoke Symphony, Pioneer Valley Symphony, Springfield Youth Symphony, Pioneer Valley Symphony, Fiddle Orchestra of Western Mass., and several Klezmer, Celtic and American fiddle groups.

2022 Recital: Pachelbel Canon in D

ENSEMBLES:
​Studio classes, generally held on the first Tuesday of each month, are a highlight of the learning experience. During these, everyone plays together in various-sized ensembles and styles, from Classical duets, trios and quartets, to all-student Bluegrass fiddle groups!

In the months preceding our spring recital, everyone also plays their solo for each other in a wonderfully supportive atmosphere. It's here that students learn to perform their favorite solos, developing the poise and confidence to play in front of others.
